There are lakhs of people in the third world who lack clean water to quench their thirst. But what makes it crazy is people over there, own smartphones than toilets! To help the needy people m.Paani launched a gamified program. Users buying mobile credit from sponsoring companies can earn points to buy sanitization products or can contribute to water-related infrastructure for the village. In turn, members of the loyalty program are rewarded for shopping at local stores and Kirana. Also, they can redeem points for a better life in areas like healthcare, education, and so on.
