Eyewire is an innovative gamified app that asks the players to map a neuron of the retina of a mouse eye in all 3-dimensions using real 2-D imaging data. The game consists of puzzles like cubes. The players are asked to place the thicket of neurons from one plane to another plane in a cube. It is just like filling colors in a coloring book. Errors are detected if players fail to trace part of the neuron. For accuracy and speed, players are rewarded exciting prizes.
