The lyrics were written by the famous poet and lyricist, Poovachal khader. The music director, A.T. Ummer tuned these lines. Touching rendition by K.J. Yesudas. The actors Sri Vidya, M.G. Soman, Seema acted the main characters.
1982-ൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ 'ബീഡിക്കുഞ്ഞമ്മ' എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലെ ഒരു ശോകഗാനം. കെ.ജി.രാജശേഖരനാണ് ചിത്രത്തിൻ്റെ സംവിധായകനും നിർമ്മാതാവും. പ്രശസ്ത ഗാനരചയിതാവും കവിയുമായ പൂവച്ചൽ ഖാദറാണ് വരികൾ എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നത്. സംഗീതസംവിധായകനായ എ .ടി. ഉമ്മറാണ് ഈ വരികൾക്ക് ഈണം പകർന്നിരിക്കുന്നത്. കെ. ജെ. യേശുദാസിൻ്റെ ഹൃദ്യമായ ആലാപനം. എം.ജി. സോമൻ, ശ്രീവിദ്യ, സീമ എന്നിവരാണ് പ്രധാന കഥാപാത്രങ്ങളെ അവതരിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്.
