Shraavana chandrika poo choodichu is a song from the Malayalam language film Oru Penninte Katha which was released in 1971. P Susheela was the singer of this song. E. Moses wrote the script and K. S. Sethumadhavan directed the film. The plot of the film is based on the Hollywood blockbuster The Visit (1964). Mr. Marumakan, a 2012 Malayalam film, uses several scenes from the film. Devarajan master, was a Carnatic vocalist and composer from India. He composed music for this song and Vayalar Ramavarma wrote the lyrics. The song's Raga is kharaharapriya and this raga gives a happy feeling to the singer. Savithri (Sheela), a poor woman who faced a lot of injustice at the hands of the wealthy Madhavan Thampi (Sathyan), disguises herself and returns to take revenge on him.
1971-ൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ ഒരു പെണ്ണിന്റെ കഥ എന്ന മലയാള ഭാഷാ ചിത്രത്തിലെ ഒരു ഗാനമാണ് "ശ്രാവണ ചന്ദ്രിക പൂ ചൂടിച്ചു". പി സുശീലയായിരുന്നു ഈ ഗാനത്തിന്റെ ഗായിക. ഇ.മോസസ് തിരക്കഥയെഴുതി, കെ.എസ്.സേതുമാധവൻ സംവിധാനം ചെയ്തു. ഹോളിവുഡ് ബ്ലോക്ക്ബസ്റ്റർ ദി വിസിറ്റ് (1964) അടിസ്ഥാനമാക്കിയാണ് ചിത്രത്തിന്റെ ഇതിവൃത്തം. 2012-ൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ മലയാളചലച്ചിത്രമായ മിസ്റ്റർ മരുമകൻ, ചിത്രത്തിലെ നിരവധി രംഗങ്ങൾ ഉപയോഗിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. ദേവരാജൻ മാസ്റ്റർ, ഇന്ത്യയിൽ നിന്നുള്ള ഒരു കർണാടക ഗായകനും സംഗീതസംവിധായകനുമായിരുന്നു. വയലാർ രാമവർമയുടെ വരികൾ എഴുതിയ ഈ ഗാനത്തിന് അദ്ദേഹം സംഗീതം നൽകി. ഗാനത്തിന്റെ രാഗം ഖരഹരപ്രിയയാണ്, ഈ രാഗം ഗായകന് സന്തോഷകരമായ അനുഭൂതി നൽകുന്നു. ഈ ചിത്രത്തിൽ സമ്പന്നനായ മാധവൻ തമ്പിയുടെ (സത്യൻ) കയ്യിൽ നിന്ന് ഒരുപാട് അനീതികൾ നേരിട്ട സാവിത്രി (ഷീല) എന്ന പാവപ്പെട്ട സ്ത്രീ വേഷം മാറി അവനോട് പ്രതികാരം ചെയ്യാൻ മടങ്ങുന്നു.
