This song is from Hariharan's super successful film "Rajahamsam," which was produced by Hari Pothan. In 1977, G. Devarajan composed the music, which was sung by Ayiroor Sadasivan and written by Vayalar Ramavarma. Prem Nazir, Jayabharathi, Srividya, and Vidhubala played the key parts. Later, in 1978, the film was remade in Telugu and became a great hit.
