Self Esteem

Presentations | English

Low Self Esteem is like leading a life with constant reminds of clusters. Self-esteem is your overall opinion of yourself — how you feel about your abilities and limitations. When you have healthy self-esteem, you feel good about yourself and see yourself as deserving of the respect of others. When you have low self-esteem, you put little value on your opinions and ideas. This study investigated the relationship between three types of self-esteem and subjective well-being (SWB). The three types of self-esteem are a sense of superiority, others' approval, and uniqueness. There are several ways in which you can improve your self-esteem: Identify and Challenge Your Negative Beliefs, Identify the Positive About Yourself, Build Positive Relationships—and Avoid Negative Ones, Give Yourself a Break, Become More Assertive and Learn to Say No, Improve Your Physical Health and Taking On Challenges. Five stages in the development of the self-concept can be recognized, with a different type of self-esteem being appropriate to each stage. These stages are the dynamic self; self-as-object; self-as-knower; self-as-integrated-whole; and the 'selfless' self.
