Say No to Rapes

Presentations | English

Can we redefine the Rape culture and say No to it? The overall definition of sexual or indecent assault is an act of physical, psychological, and emotional violation in the form of a sexual act inflicted on someone without their consent. The legal definition of rape is when a person intentionally penetrates another's persons private part without the other person's consent. Rape is often explained or excused as a manifestation of racial, ethnic, and class hatred or as stemming from a patriarchal system in which women are viewed as the property of men. Rape within marriage and relationships can also occur. Though some rapists may have psychological disorders, there is no such disorder that compels people to rape. This rape culture can be narrowed down by Creating a culture of enthusiastic consent, Redefining masculinity, Broadening your understanding of rape culture, Ending impunity, Stopping victim-blaming, Speaking out against the root causes, Listening to survivors, and Educate the next generation.
