Save Water

Presentations | English

The entire Earth consists of 71% water, out of which only a small percentage is drinkable freshwater. This fact is quite scary. Isn’t it? Or else it can get scarier when we really run out of fresh drinkable water by, say 2050? Or even before that if we do not take proper measures to save it before it wipes out humanity. Existence would not have been possible without water. Like air, water is an essential element. All life forms on the surface of the earth need water for consumption and other purposes for their daily life. Water is also widely used for agricultural purposes; including agriculture, harvesting, and irrigation. A report from the World Health Organisation (WHO) states that one out of every five people in the world does not have access to proper drinking water. Now isn’t this scary? SO far, the Earth is the only planet in the solar system that has extensive water resources. 71% of the earth's surface is occupied by water. The only reason life persists on land is because of the presence of fresh and marine water. Water must be saved since the supply is less; demand increases with the increasing population. The quantity is limited while the demand is unlimited. So that the community does not exceed the amount of water available, the water must be used very carefully. Saving water is very important to save life on earth.
