1979-ൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ വെള്ളായണി പരമു എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലെ ഒരു മലയാളം ഗാനമാണ് “ശെരിയതെന്നറിഞ്ഞു”. ഈ ഗാനം ആലപിച്ചത് പിന്നണി ഗായകൻ പി.ജയചന്ദ്രൻ ആണ്. ഈ ഗാനത്തിന്റെ വരികൾ എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നത് ശ്രീകുമാരൻ തമ്പിയാണ്. സംഗീത സംവിധായകൻ ജി.ദേവരാജൻ മനോഹരമായി ഈ ഗാനം ചിട്ടപ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
