Since 1954, many Telugu writers have been honoured with the prestigious Sahitya Akademi Award. In this multi-part series, we provide you with the names of all these authors as well as their brief biographies and information about their writings. Covered in this section is Sri Bandi Narayana Swami garu. He is a philosopher and has an inclination towards communist ideologies and his stories are expressive of the life of Dalits and Bahujans. His novel titled Saptabhumi won the Sahitya Akademi Award. More on his life and his works can be found in this presentation.
