The Sahitya Akademi Award is a prestigious literary honour given out annually to writers of the most outstanding books published in any of the 24 major languages of India. The award consists of a plaque and a cash prize. We bring to you a multi-part series with a list and a brief biography of the various Telugu writers who have wond the award since its establishement in 1954. This part covers Sri Suravaram Pratapa Reddy garu, Sri Bulusu Venkateswarulu garu and Sri Chiranthanantha Swamy garu.
