Presentations | English

Everything available in our environment which can be used to satisfy our needs, is called a resource. How is resources and development important to our environment? It should be technologically accessible, economically feasible and culturally acceptable. Only then, it can be termed as a ‘resource’. Examples: minerals, forests, fossil fuels etc. Resource development means the development of natural resources effectively and efficiently without harming the environment or human existence. The benefits of resource development are not only for the present but also for future generations. In order to prevent wastage, development of resources are necessary. Resources are the basic needs of human beings. Resources that can be renewed should be developed so that they are not exhausted, thereby effecting life on earth. The development in the present should not destroy the ability of the future generations to meet their needs.
