Regional Indian Literature in Translation

Presentations | English

"Literature is a blessing in textual form. What better ways are available where you can idly sit at home in your favourite chair while sipping your tea or coffee at whichever time of the day and while doing so, travel to a completely different time, era, place and situation? With Indian literature, it only gets better. The text becomes all the more relatable and adaptable; extra points if you are reading in your native language. The worst part of it all and the only bad aspect about reading a good book is to know that it was in fact the translated version. Technique is lost and so is the original intended meaning of it. Well and good if it conveyed what it was supposed to convey but it need not necessarily be the same all the time. Head over to PPT to know more about the Regional Indian Literature in Translation.
