ആനന്ദ് റോഷനും അനഘ സജീവും പ്രധാന വേഷങ്ങളിൽ എത്തിയ മലയാള ചിത്രമാണ് സമീർ. ഈ ചിത്രത്തിലെ ഒരു ഗാനമാണ്"രാവിന്റെ നീലക്കടലിൽ". ഒരു ഇന്ത്യൻ സംവിധായകനാണ് റഷീദ് പാറക്കൽ. കേരളത്തിലെ കൊച്ചിയിലാണ് അദ്ദേഹം ജനിച്ചത്. റഷീദ് പാറക്കൽ മുമ്പ് മോളിവുഡ് എന്റർടൈൻമെന്റ് ഇൻഡസ്ട്രിയിൽ പ്രവർത്തിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്, അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ കലാസൃഷ്ടി മലയാളം ഭാഷാ സിനിമകളിൽ പ്രത്യക്ഷപ്പെട്ടു. അദ്ദേഹം തിരക്കഥയെഴുതി സംവിധാനം ചെയ്ത് സുദീപ് പാലനാടിന്റെ സംഗീതസംവിധാനത്തിൽ വിദ്യാധരൻ മാസ്റ്ററാണ് ഗാനം ആലപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. ശിവറാം സംഗീതസംവിധാനം നിർവ്വഹിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. മലയാള സിനിമയിലെ സംഗീതസംവിധായകനും പിന്നണി ഗായകനുമാണ് വിദ്യാധരൻ മാസ്റ്റർ. 2013 ൽ അദ്ദേഹം തന്റെ സംഗീത ജീവിതത്തിന്റെ 50 വർഷം പൂർത്തിയാക്കി. ബാലിയാടുകൾ എന്ന നാടകത്തിലൂടെ വിദ്യാധരൻ ഏകാംഗ സംഗീത സംവിധായകനായി നിലയുറപ്പിച്ചു. വിദ്യാധരന് 2017-ലെ ജി.ദേവരാജൻ മാസ്റ്റർ അവാർഡും സർഗ-സംഗീത പ്രതിഭ പുരസ്കാരം, രഞ്ജിത്ത് കണ്ഠരൻ പുരസ്കാരം, മൂകാംബിക സൗപർണികാമൃതം പുരസ്കാരം എന്നിവയും ലഭിച്ചു. 2016-ൽ ദക്ഷിണാമൂർത്തി സംഗീത സുമേരു അവാർഡ് ലഭിച്ചു.
