“Ramayanam Bhasha Chambu Prabandham Sugreevasakhyam” was written by Punam Namboothiri and published by Kochi Malayalabhasha Parishkarana Committee in the year 1928. This 151 page book says about the story of Sugreeva, who was a character in the ancient Indian epic Ramayana. Most of the literature works were imitated from Sanskrit works by various writers, one such work is this book of Punam Namboothiri. Sugreeva was the younger brother of Vali, whom he succeeded as ruler of Kishkindha, the Vanara Kingdom.
