Rakthanakshathrame kalam koluthiya' is a song from the drama Rakthanakshathram. G Devarajan master composed the music and ONV Kurup wrote it's lyrics. Devarajan became a member of Kerala's once-famous theatre troupe, the Kerala People's Arts Club (KPAC). The drama song "Rakthanakshathrame," written by his friend O. N. V. Kurup and composed and sung by him, was the work that catapulted him to fame. KPAC and its members had a clear communist leaning, and their dramas were instrumental in promoting the idea among the Keralite masses. Devarajan would leave an everlasting mark on the Malayali theatre scene with his works, especially after the legendary KPAC production Ningalenne Communistaakki.
