Quantum Cryptography

Presentations | English

Imagine a conversation between you and your friend, that no one can intercept. So, a series of polarized photons are sent via a fibre optic cable. The cable doesn’t need to be secure because the photons are in randomized quantum state. Someone who tries to over hear this conversation has to read each photon to read the information. While reading, photon's quantum state becomes altered which introduces errors into the key. This can alert you and make yourself know that the key is compromised so discard the key. So now via a new key the conversation is to generated. This is how the principle of quantum cryptography works. Using a series of photons data is transmitted from place to another via a fibre optic cable. Properties includes both the ends know what the key is and whether it is safe or not. This technique is something which have a great future by safeguarding all our information. Let's have a look into the PowerPoint presentation.
