Telugu is one of the 6 classical languages of the country. It boasts of a rich and diverse literature. This three-part presentation brings to you a brief biographical sketch of various prominent Telugu literary personalities from the 11th century to the 20th century. Covered in this part are poets and writers from the 11th century to the 14th century. Included are life and works of Nannaya, Nannachodudu, Mallikarjuna Pandithaaraadhyudu, Palkuriki Somanathudu, Thikkana, Gona Buddhareddy, Errapragada and Naachana Somana. The presentation also attempts to offer a brief overview of the classification of the Telugu literary ages in this timeframe.
