What do you know about Programming Language? A Programming Language is a vocabulary and set of grammatical rules for instructing a computer or computing device to perform specific tasks. The term programming language usually refers to high-level languages, such as BASIC, C, C++, COBOL, Java, FORTRAN, Ada, and Pascal. It is a computer language that is used by programmers (developers) to communicate with computers. It is a set of instructions written in any specific language to perform a specific task. Broadly the computer language can be classified into three categories assembly language, machine language, and high-level language. Programming languages are one kind of a computer language, and are used in computer programming to implement algorithms. Most programming languages consist of instructions for computers. There are programmable machines that use a set of specific instructions, rather than general programming languages. Programming Language is classified into: Procedural Programming Language, Functional Programming Language, Scripting Programming Language, Logic Programming Language, and Object-Oriented Programming Language.
