Priyamvadha is a Indian Malayalam film which was directed by K. S. Sethumadhavan and produced by T. E. Vasudevan under the production company Jaya Maruthi. The film stars Kaviyoor Ponnamma, KPAC Lalitha, Adoor Bhasi and Lakshmi were the actors who played the lead character roles. This film has musical score by renowned musician V. Dakshinamoorthy. This film was a remake of the Tamil film Suryagandhi. It was released in the year 1976. S L Puram Sadhanandhan did the screenplay for the movie Priyamvadha.
കെ എസ് സേതുമാധവൻ സംവിധാനം ചെയ്ത് ജയ മാരുതി എന്ന പ്രൊഡക്ഷൻ കമ്പനിക്ക് കീഴിൽ ടി ഇ വാസുദേവൻ നിർമ്മിച്ച ഒരു ഇന്ത്യൻ മലയാളം ചിത്രമാണ് പ്രിയംവദ. കവിയൂർ പൊന്നമ്മ, കെപിഎസി ലളിത, അടൂർ ഭാസി, ലക്ഷ്മി എന്നിവരാണ് ചിത്രത്തിലെ പ്രധാന കഥാപാത്രങ്ങളെ അവതരിപ്പിച്ചത്. പ്രശസ്ത സംഗീതജ്ഞൻ വി. ദക്ഷിണാമൂർത്തിയാണ് ഈ ചിത്രത്തിന് സംഗീതം നൽകിയിരിക്കുന്നത്. തമിഴ് ചിത്രം സൂര്യഗന്ധിയുടെ റീമേക്ക് ആയിരുന്നു ഈ ചിത്രം. 1976-ലാണ് ഇത് പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയത്. പ്രിയംവദ എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിന് എസ് എൽ പുരം സദാനന്ദനാണ് തിരക്കഥ ഒരുക്കിയത്.
