Principles of Auditing

Presentations | English

The auditing environment has evolved considerably in the previous several years. Accounting and financial statement auditing is the process of examining a company's books and records to ensure accuracy. It's a methodical process that looks at the company's financial health. An "Auditor" is someone who takes on the role of process responsibility. This procedure determines whether or not the firm is profitable. Auditing is a vital procedure for the firm, investors, the government, creditors, and shareholders. Although Enron's collapse was a major driver of reform, other corporate scandals in the US and Europe have sparked considerable concern about financial reporting quality and corporate behavior. The value of our auditors' education cannot be overstated. The audit's scope, applicable standards, and even reasoning have evolved, and these changes must be represented in what students learn. Students must have a firm grasp of what is vital in today's audits. To understand the concepts of auditing, download and view this PPT.
