This song was written by the great lyricist and Malayalam poet O.N.V. Kurup and composed by M.K. Arjunan, who is a very famous Indian film and theatre composer, he mostly composed for amateur plays. One such composition of his was done in this play named “Pravaham.” This play was presented by the well-known professional drama theatrical group Kalidasa Kala Kedhram.
ഈ ഗാനം എഴുതിയത് മഹാനായ ഗാനരചയിതാവും മലയാള കവിയുമായ ഒ.എൻ.വി. കുറുപ്പും സംഗീതസംവിധാനം പ്രശസ്ത ഇന്ത്യൻ ചലച്ചിത്ര-നാടക സംഗീതസംവിധായകനായ എം.കെ. അർജുനൻ, അമേച്വർ നാടകങ്ങൾക്കാണ് അദ്ദേഹം കൂടുതലും സംഗീതം നൽകിയത്. അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ അത്തരത്തിലുള്ള ഒരു രചനയാണ് "പ്രവാഹം" എന്ന ഈ നാടകത്തിൽ ചെയ്തത്. കാളിദാസ കലാകേന്ദ്രം എന്ന പ്രശസ്ത പ്രൊഫഷണൽ നാടക സംഘമാണ് ഈ നാടകം അവതരിപ്പിച്ചത്.
