We cannot despair of humanity, since we ourselves are human beings” – Albert Einstein. Despite of the cry of humanitarians across the world, we still see raging incidents in various countries. We forget that, the essential to our humanness is how we treat each other. Humanity means extending unconditional love to each and every living being on earth. Out of all the beings on earth, the human being is totally unique in his or her capabilities. The power of humanity is the strength of individual commitment and the force of collective action. Those characteristics that belong uniquely to human beings, such as kindness, mercy, sympathy, forgiveness and so on should be flourished to have a better future for the mankind. We, human beings are capable of making the impossible, possible! But it can be achieved only if we step out of our comfort zone and be in the shoes of others. Let us better not forget Leo Tolstoy’s saying “The sole meaning of life is to serve humanity”. The presentation gives better insight on the topic.
