Sirajunnisa was 11-year-old Muslim Girl, murdered while playing in the courtyard of her house at Puthuppalli in Palakkad District of Kerala. She didn't participate in any Political Revolutionary Movements. She was an Apolitical innocent school going child. She was murdered by the Hindutva Islamophobic Police of the Congress Government of Kerala. She was murdered only because of her religion. Sirajunnisa who was playing in the courtyard of her house and the bullet hit just below Sirajunisa’s nose and exited through the back of her head, which resulted in her instant death. This case of Sirajunnisa should not be decreased to the matter of Islamophobia and of an individual alone. This tells us the presence of Hindutva in all of the Political Parties and rise in Police Raj. After hearing the gunshots, neighbours, mother & uncle of Sirajunnisa rushed to the spot. They were brutally lathi-charged by the police and they were not even allowed to pick Sirajunnisa. Sulaiman who is the uncle of Sirajunnisa testified that even the mother and elder sister of Sirajunnisa got beaten by Police.
കേരളത്തിലെ പാലക്കാട് ജില്ലയിലെ പുതുപ്പള്ളിയിൽ വീട്ടുമുറ്റത്ത് കളിക്കുന്നതിനിടെയാണ് 11 വയസ്സുള്ള മുസ്ലീം പെൺകുട്ടിയായ സിറാജുന്നിസ കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ടത്. ഒരു രാഷ്ട്രീയ വിപ്ലവ പ്രസ്ഥാനത്തിലും അവൾ പങ്കെടുത്തിട്ടില്ല. അവൾ അരാഷ്ട്രീയ നിഷ്കളങ്കയായ ഒരു സ്കൂൾ കുട്ടിയായിരുന്നു. കേരളത്തിലെ കോൺഗ്രസ് സർക്കാരിന്റെ ഹിന്ദുത്വ പോലീസാണ് അവളെ കൊലപ്പെടുത്തിയത്. അവളുടെ മതത്തിന്റെ പേരിൽ മാത്രമാണ് അവൾ കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ടത്. വീടിന്റെ മുറ്റത്ത് കളിച്ചു കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുകയായിരുന്ന സിറാജുന്നിസയുടെ മൂക്കിന് താഴെയുള്ള വെടിയുണ്ട തലയുടെ പിൻഭാഗത്ത് കൂടി പുറത്തേക്ക് പോയതാണ് തൽക്ഷണ മരണത്തിന് കാരണമായത്. സിറാജുന്നിസയുടെ ഈ കേസ് ഇസ്ലാം വിവേചനത്തിൻ്റെയും ഒരു വ്യക്തിയുടെയും മാത്രം കാര്യമായി ചുരുക്കരുത്. എല്ലാ രാഷ്ട്രീയ പാർട്ടികളിലും ഹിന്ദുത്വ സാന്നിധ്യവും പോലീസ് രാജിലെ ഉയർച്ചയും ഇത് നമ്മോട് പറയുന്നു. വെടിയൊച്ച കേട്ട് അയൽവാസികളും സിറാജുന്നിസയുടെ അമ്മയും അമ്മാവനും സ്ഥലത്തെത്തി. ഇവരെ പോലീസ് ക്രൂരമായി ലാത്തി ചാർജ്ജ് ചെയ്യുകയും സിറാജുന്നിസയെ എടുക്കാൻ പോലും അനുവദിച്ചില്ല. സിറാജുന്നിസയുടെ അമ്മയെയും മൂത്ത സഹോദരിയെയും പോലും പോലീസ് മർദിച്ചതായി സിറാജുന്നിസയുടെ അമ്മാവൻ സുലൈമാൻ മൊഴി നൽകി.
