The services sector is not only the dominant sector in India’s GDP, but has also attracted significant foreign investment flows, contributed significantly to exports as well as provided large-scale employment. India’s services sector covers a wide variety of activities such as trade, hotel and restaurants, transport. The Service Sector, also called tertiary sector, is the third of the three traditional economic sectors. The other two are the primary sector, which covers areas such as farming, mining and fishing; and the secondary sector which covers manufacturing and making things. Trade, Tourism, Including Hotels and Restaurants , Shipping ,Port Services , Storage Services Telecom and Related Services , Real Estate Services, IT Services Accounting and Auditing Services , Research & Development Services, (R&D) Legal Services , Consultancy and Construction are the most popular business areas in service sector.
