This 1964 play was named “Aalthara” which was presented by Prathibha Arts. The composition of the song was tuned by G. Devarajan and the lyrics were written by O.N.V. Kurup. This beautiful song was sung by Kaviyoor Ponnamma, who is an Indian Malayalam actress, she is a four –time Kerala State Film Award for Second Best Actress winner. She had sung songs for several plays.
പ്രതിഭ ആർട്സ് അവതരിപ്പിച്ച ഈ 1964 നാടകത്തിന് "ആൽത്തറ" എന്ന് പേരിട്ടു. ജി.ദേവരാജൻ ഈണമിട്ട ഗാനത്തിന്റെ രചന ഒ.എൻ.വി. കുറുപ്പ്. ഈ മനോഹരമായ ഗാനം ആലപിച്ചത് ഒരു ഇന്ത്യൻ മലയാളം അഭിനേത്രിയായ കവിയൂർ പൊന്നമ്മയാണ്, മികച്ച രണ്ടാമത്തെ നടിക്കുള്ള കേരള സംസ്ഥാന ചലച്ചിത്ര അവാർഡ് നാല് തവണയാണ് നേടിയത്. നിരവധി നാടകങ്ങൾക്കായി അവർ ഗാനങ്ങൾ ആലപിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.
