“Poornendu Deepam” is a beautiful evergreen malayalam song from a malayalam movie veedu which was released in the year 1982. The movie tells us about Mr. Rajasekhara and Sumi are in love and get married without knowing their parents. However, the movie focuses on their marriage problems when Rajasekhara becomes more focused regarding his job. This song was beautifully sung by the famous and versatile female playback singer P. Suseela. The lyrics for this song were written by Yusufali Kecheri. This song was beautifully composed by music director G Devarajan. The film actors Anuradha, mammooty, Kuthiravattam Pappu, Raveendhran, Zarina Wahab and Balan K Nair played the lead character roles in this movie. This movie was directed by Rasheed Karapuzha. Josekutty Cherupushpam produced this Malayalam-language movie under the banner Cherupushpam Films. Other songs from this movie is Myaavu Myaavu Kurinjippoocha, Choodulla Kulirinu, Veedu Veedu Chumarukal Naalathinu. Other singers in the movie are KJ Yesudas,P Jayachandran, and P Madhuri.
