Presentations | English

A polymer is a large molecule made up of many smaller subunits called monomers. Polymers come in a variety of forms and have numerous applications. Polymers play an important role in our daily lives, even if most people are unaware of it. Polymers range from plastics such as PVC and Styrofoam to key structures in the human body such as DNA and proteins, which are essential components of the human body that allow each of us to live and be unique. Polymers are also commonly referred to as plastics, so you can see how widely we use polymers. The PowerPoint presentation contains additional information on this subject.
