Phobias

Presentations | English

“Each of us must confront our own fears, must come face to face with them. How we handle our fears will determine where we go with the rest of our lives. To experience adventure or to be limited by the fear of it.” A phobia is a fear reaction that is both excessive and illogical. When confronted with the thing that causes your phobia, someone who suffers from it may feel fear or panic. The dread may be of a certain location, circumstance, or thing. A phobia, in contrast to anxiety disorders that affect the entire body, is tied to a single fear. A phobia's effects might range from irritating to profoundly debilitating. People with phobias are frequently aware that their dread is illogical, yet they are unable to change it. Work, education, and personal relationships can all be hampered by such anxieties. An estimated 19 million Americans suffer from a phobia that interferes with their daily life in some way. If you have a phobia that is preventing you from living your best life, get medical advice.
