In economics, resource is defined as a service or other asset used to produce goods and services that meet human needs and wants. Also referred to as factors of production, economics classifies resources into four categories — land, labour, capital and enterprise. 'People as Resources' is a way of referring to a country's working people in terms of their existing productive skills and abilities. By people as a resource, we mean to say the people who form a part of the workforce and play a significant role in the economic growth by contributing to the productive resources of the country. Education and health also help human beings to be an asset to the economy. Thus, people as a resource refer to the working population that result in the development of society. The presentation gives further insight on the topic.
