"Pavizham Kondoru Kottaram" is from the malayalam movie 'Pushpanjali' directed by J Sasikumar. The song was composed by M K Arjunan and lyrics was written by Sreekumaran Thampi. ജെ ശശികുമാർ സംവിധാനം ചെയ്ത പുഷ്പാഞ്ജലി എന്ന മലയാള സിനിമയിൽ നിന്നാണ് "പവിഴം കൊണ്ടൊരു കൊട്ടാരം" എന്ന ഗാനം. ശ്രീകുമാരൻ തമ്പിയുടെ വരികൾക്ക് എം കെ അർജുനൻ ഈണം പകർന്നു. കെ ജെ യേശുദാസാണ് ഈ ഗാനം ആലപിച്ചത്. 1972ൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ ഈ ചിത്രംഒരു ബംഗാളി സിനിമയുടെ റീമേക്ക് ആയിരുന്നു. പ്രേം നസീർ, വിജയശ്രീ, കവിയൂർ പൊന്നമ്മ, അടൂർ ഭാസി, ജോസ് പ്രകാശ് എന്നിവരാണ് ചിത്രത്തിലെ കഥാപാത്രങ്ങളെ അവതരിപ്പിച്ചത്. സംഗീതസംവിധായകൻ തന്നെ ഒരുക്കിയ പശ്ചാത്തല സംഗീതവും ഈ ചിത്രത്തിനുണ്ട്.
