Venkalam' is a malayalam movie released in 1993 written by A K Lohithadas and directed by Bharathan. The song 'Pathuveluppinu Muttathu' is from this movie which was composed by Raveendran. The lyrics of this movie was written by P Bhaskaran. The female version of the song was sung by K S Chithra and male version was sung by Biju Narayanan. എ കെ ലോഹിതദാസ് എഴുതി ഭരതൻ സംവിധാനം ചെയ്ത് 1993-ൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ മലയാളചലച്ചിത്രമാണ് 'വെങ്കലം'. രവീന്ദ്രൻ ഈണം പകർന്ന ഈ ചിത്രത്തിലേതാണ് 'പത്തുവെളുപ്പിനു മുറ്റത്തു' എന്ന ഗാനം. പി ഭാസ്കരനാണ് ഈ ചിത്രത്തിന്റെ വരികൾ എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നത്. ഗാനത്തിന്റെ ഫീമെയിൽ വെർഷൻ കെ എസ് ചിത്രയും മെയിൽ വെർഷൻ ബിജു നാരായണനും ആണ് ആലപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. മുരളി, ഉർവശി, മനോജ് കെ ജയൻ, കെ പി എ സി ലളിത, നെടുമുടി വേണു, ഫിലോമിന എന്നിവരാണ് ചിത്രത്തിലെ പ്രധാന കഥാപാത്രങ്ങളെ അവതരിപ്പിച്ചത്.
