1990 ൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ "പാവക്കൂത്" എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലെ ഗാനമാണ് "ഒരു തീയലയിൽ പൂക്കാലം കരിയും പോലെ". കെ.ജയകുമാറിന്റെ വരികൾക്ക് ജോൺസന്റെ സംഗീതം. എം.ജി.ശ്രീകുമാർ ആണ് ഈ ഗാനം ആലപിച്ചത്. പഹാഡി രാഗത്തിൽ ആണ് ഈ ഗാനം ചിട്ടപ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നത്. ഈ ചിത്രത്തിന് കഥ,തിരക്കഥ,സംഭാഷണം എന്നിവ രചിച്ചത് രഞ്ജിത്ത് ബാലകൃഷ്ണൻ ആണ്. ശാന്തി സിനി ആർട്സിന്റെ ബാനറിൽ എം.ജി.ഗോപിനാഥ് നിർമ്മിച്ച ഈ ചിത്രം സംവിധാനം ചെയ്തത് കെ.ശ്രീക്കുട്ടൻ ആണ്.
