This very famous song was from the film “Kuttikuppayam.” This is a 1964 Malayalam language film which was scripted by Moidu Padiyathu, directed by M. Krishnan Nair and produced by T.E. Vasudevan Nair. P. Bhaskaran wrote this song while it was composed by Baburaj and sung by L.R Eeswari and chorus. This film ruled the box office and still considered one of the best musical hits of all time. The cast includes Prem Nazir, Madhu, Sheela, Adoor Bhasi and Ambika played the lead roles.
വളരെ പ്രശസ്തമായ ഈ ഗാനം"കുട്ടിക്കുപ്പായം" എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലെ ഗാനമായിരുന്നു. മൊയ്തു പടിയത്ത് തിരക്കഥയെഴുതി എം. കൃഷ്ണൻ നായർ സംവിധാനം ചെയ്ത്, നിർമ്മിച്ചത് ടി.ഇ. വാസുദേവൻ നായർ. ഈ ഗാനം എഴുതിയത് പി.ഭാസ്കരൻ, ബാബുരാജ് ഈണമിട്ടപ്പോൾ എൽ.ആർ ഈശ്വരിയും കോറസും ചേർന്നാണ് ഈ ഗാനം ആലപിച്ചത്. ഈ ചിത്രം ബോക്സ് ഓഫീസ് ഭരിക്കുകയും ഇപ്പോഴും എക്കാലത്തെയും മികച്ച സംഗീത ഹിറ്റുകളിലൊന്നായി കണക്കാക്കപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്തു. പ്രേം നസീർ, മധു, ഷീല, അടൂർ ഭാസി, അംബിക എന്നിവർ പ്രധാന കഥാപാത്രങ്ങളെ അവതരിപ്പിച്ചു.
