The song "Onappoove Poove Poove " was sung by K. J. Yesudas for the movie Ee Ganam Marakkumo. It is a 1978 Indian Malayalam-language film that was directed by N. Sankaran Nair and produced by Adoor Manikantan and Adoor Padmakumar. Prem Nazir, Sukumari, Jagathy Sreekumar, Adoor Bhasi, and Debashree Roy feature in the film. Salil Chowdhary composed the film's music. Debashree Roy's only work in the Malayalam film business is this. O. N. V. Kurup wrote the lyrics, while Salil Chowdhary created the music. Gopi (Prem Nazir) runs across Geetha (Debashree Roy) after returning to his hometown, and the two fall in love. This, however, does not sit well with Vikram, a good-for-nothing who is head over heels in love with Geetha.
ഈ ഗാനം മറക്കുമോ എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിന് വേണ്ടി കെ ജെ യേശുദാസ് പാടിയതാണ് ഓണപ്പൂവേ പൂവേ പൂവേ എന്ന ഗാനം. എൻ. ശങ്കരൻ നായർ സംവിധാനം ചെയ്ത് അടൂർ മണികണ്ഠനും അടൂർ പത്മകുമാറും ചേർന്ന് നിർമ്മിച്ച 1978-ലെ ഇന്ത്യൻ മലയാളം ഭാഷാ ചിത്രമാണിത്. പ്രേം നസീർ, സുകുമാരി, ജഗതി ശ്രീകുമാർ, അടൂർ ഭാസി, ദേബശ്രീ റോയ് എന്നിവർ ചിത്രത്തിലുണ്ട്. സലിൽ ചൗധരിയാണ് ചിത്രത്തിന്റെ സംഗീതം ഒരുക്കിയത്. മലയാള സിനിമയിലെ ദേബശ്രീ റോയിയുടെ ഒരേയൊരു സൃഷ്ടി ഇതാണ്. ഒ.എൻ.വി കുറുപ്പ് വരികൾ എഴുതിയപ്പോൾ സലിൽ ചൗധരി സംഗീതം പകർന്നു. ഗോപി (പ്രേം നസീർ) ജന്മനാട്ടിലേക്ക് മടങ്ങിയ ശേഷം ഗീതയുമായി (ദേബശ്രീ റോയ്) പ്രണയത്തിലാകുന്നു. എന്നിരുന്നാലും, ഗീതയെ പ്രണയിക്കുന്ന ഒന്നിനും കൊള്ളാത്ത വിക്രമിന് ഇത് അത്ര രസിച്ചില്ല.
