The first few lines of the Malayalam Light Music are: 'Omane nin kavil kumkumam kandapol sayam sandhyakku mugham karuthu eeran mudikkettin neelima kandapol ee nalla raavum veluthu'. The lyrics were penned by Yousafali Kecheri, music by Vidyadharan and sung by K J Yesudas.
