Tumma Hanumantha Reddy was the first Telugu personto accept the Christianity faith in Andhra Pradesh. Some Reddy families of the Rayalaseema region converted to Christianity in the year 1715. It was only much later that missionaries arrived in the city of Visakhapatnam. Thus, with the arrival of Christianity among the local population in the state, a great number of churches, some of which are quite famous were built. This presentation brings to you a list of some such famous old churches along with their brief history and other such interesting information.
ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ లో మొట్టమొదటి సారిగా క్రైస్తవ మతం లోనికి తుమ్మ హనుమంత రెడ్డి వచ్చారు. రాయలసీమ ప్రాంతంలో 1715 సంవత్సరంలో కొన్ని రెడ్డి కుటుంబాలు క్రైస్తవ మతాన్ని స్వీకరించారు. ఆంధ్ర ప్రాంతంలోని విశాఖపట్నంలోని కి మొదట మిషనరీలు వచ్చారు. ఇలా ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ లో మొదలైన క్రైస్తవ్యం వలన ప్రసిద్దాత్మక చర్చిలు కట్టడం జరిగింది. ఈ ప్రదర్శనలో కొన్ని పురాతన చర్చి ల గురించి ఆసక్తికరమైన విశేషాలు పొందుపరచడం జరిగింది.
