Olavalen kiliyonnen is a malayalam song in the malayalam movie varnam. Varnam is a Malayalam psychological drama film starring Jayaram and Suresh Gopi that was released in 1989. The film gained critical accolades and was favorably received as filmmaker Ashokan's directorial debut. The music was given by Mechery Louis Ouseppachan, better known by his mononym Ousepachhan who is an Indian film composer and performer who specializes in Malayalam film music. Krishnachandran, MG Sreekumar, K S chitra and C. O Anto added their magical voice to the song. The lyrics were written by K. Jayakumar.
