Changampuzha Krishna Pillai who was born on 10th of October in the year 1911, Edappally, Cochin. He was a very famous poet and a writer. He died in the year 1948. He usually wrote under the genre romantic. This poem named “Nirasa” was from the collection of poems called Bashpanjali. Fifty-one poems are included in Baspanjali. This collection of poem was published in the year 1934.
ചങ്ങമ്പുഴ കൃഷ്ണപിള്ള, 1911 ഒക്ടോബർ 10-ന്, ഇടപ്പള്ളി, കൊച്ചിയിൽ ജാനിച്ചു. അദ്ദേഹം വളരെ പ്രശസ്തനായ കവിയും എഴുത്തുകാരനുമായിരുന്നു. 1948-ൽ അദ്ദേഹം അന്തരിച്ചു. റൊമാന്റിക് വിഭാഗത്തിലാണ് അദ്ദേഹം സാധാരണയായി എഴുതിയിരുന്നത്. ബാഷ്പാഞ്ജലി എന്ന കവിതാസമാഹാരത്തിൽനിന്നുള്ളതാണ് “നിരാശ” എന്ന ഈ കവിത. അൻപത്തിയൊന്ന് കവിതകളാണ് ബാഷ്പാഞ്ജലിയിൽ ഉൾപ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നത്. 1934-ലാണ് ഈ കവിതാ സമാഹാരം പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ചത്.
