The song 'Ponnarivalambiliyil kanneriyunnole aamarathin...' is from the drama 'Ningalenne Communistakki'. The play was written by Thoppil Bhasi, Rajagopalan Nair and G. Janardhana Kurup directed it. The songs for this play were written by poet O. N. V Kurup and music was composed by G. And Devarajan. The play was written under the pen name of Thoppil Bhasi and Soman, who went into hiding as part of the party activities while composing the play. KPAC's second play, which began in 1950, was "Ningalenne Communistakki."
"നിങ്ങളെന്നെ കമ്മ്യൂണിസ്റ്റാക്കി" എന്ന നാടകത്തിലെ ഗാനമാണ് "പൊന്നരിവാളമ്പിളിയില് കണ്ണെറിയുന്നോളേ ആമരത്തിന് പൂന്തണലില് വാടിനില്ക്കുന്നോളേ വാടി നില്ക്കുന്നോളേ.. (പൊന്നരിവാള....) പുല്ക്കുടിലിന് പൊല്ക്കതിരാം കൊച്ചുറാണിയാളേ കണ്കുളിരേ നെനക്കു വേണ്ടി നമ്മളൊന്നു പാടാം നമ്മളൊന്നു പാടാം.." എന്ന ഈ ഗാനം. ഒ എൻ വി കുറുപ്പ് എഴുതി , ജി ദേവരാജൻ സംഗീതം നൽകി, കെ എസ് ജോർജ്, കെ പി എ സി സുലോചന എന്നിവർ ആലപിച്ച ഗാനം. രാഗം - ശങ്കരാഭരണം. കെ. പി. എ. സി യുടെ ഒരു സാമൂഹിക രാഷ്ട്രീയ നാടകമാണ് നിങ്ങളെന്നെ കമ്മ്യുണിസ്റ്റാക്കി. തോപ്പിൽ ഭാസി രചിച്ച ഈ നാടകം എൻ. രാജഗോപാലൻ നായരും, ജി. ജനാർദ്ദനക്കുറുപ്പും ചേർന്നാണ് സംവിധാനം ചെയ്തത്. ഈ നാടകത്തിനു വേണ്ടി ഗാനങ്ങൾ എഴുതിയത് കവി ഒ. എൻ. വി കുറുപ്പും, സംഗീത സംവിധാനം നിർവ്വഹിച്ചത് ജി. ദേവരാജനുമാണ്. നാടക രചനാ സമയത്ത് പാർട്ടി പ്രവർത്തനത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി ഒളിവുജീവിതം നയിച്ച തോപ്പിൽ ഭാസി, സോമൻ എന്ന തൂലികാ നാമത്തിലാണ് നാടകം എഴുതിയത്. 1950 -ൽ ആരംഭിച്ച കെ.പി.എ.സി യുടെ രണ്ടാമത്തെ നാടകമായിരുന്നു ""നിങ്ങളെന്നെ കമ്മ്യൂണിസ്റ്റാക്കി.
