Newspapers and Magazines offer news and information on politics, business, sports, arts and many other subjects. Apart from news and information, they also offer editorial columns, weather reports, reports of local events, reviews, crosswords, cartoons, comic strips and so on. These newspapers and magazines might be daily, weekly, bi-weekly, fortnightly or monthly. Some also come out annually. This multi-part series is an attempt to bring to you information and interesting history of the various Telugu newspapers and magazines, beginning from the very first publication in the early 1800s, right up to the present times. This part is a continuation of the history of the popular Chandamama Magazine. If you haven’t read it already, we suggest you begin with the previous 2 parts of this series which talk of the same magazine.
