Network Topology

Presentations | English

Network topology is the way communication network is arranged, including the physical or logical description of how links and nodes are set up to relate to each other. It is the arrangement of the elements (links, nodes, etc.) of a communication network. It can be used to define or describe the arrangement of various types of telecommunication networks, including command and control radio networks, industrial field busses and computer networks. The configuration, or topology, of a network is the key to determining its performance. There are numerous ways a network can be arranged. Admins have a range of options when it comes to choosing a network topology, and this decision must account for the size and scale of their business, its goals, and budget. Some are more useful in certain circumstances than others. The presentation will give you better understanding on the topic.
