இந்த விளக்கக்காட்சி தமிழகத்தின் நீர் மின் ஆற்றல் நிலையங்களை பற்றி அறிவோம். இன்றியமையாத் தேவைகளுக்கு பயன்படும் நீரானது தற்போது மின்னாற்றல் உற்பத்திக்கும் பயன்படுகிறது. அணைகளின் தன்மையும், நீர் மின் நிலையங்களின் கட்டமைப்பும் பற்றிய தமிழக அரசின் வழிமுறைகளும், "நீரின்றி அமையாது உலகு" என்ற காலம் மாறி "நீரின்றி அமையாது மின்உற்பத்தி" என்றதோர் கூற்றானது.
