Neelamperoor Pally Bhagavathi Temple is a 1700-year-old Buddhist temple in Kuttanadu, Alappuzha, Kerala, India. On the Kottayam-Changanacherry Main Central Road, it's about 3 kilometres west of Kurichy outpost. Vanadurga is the most important deity. Neelamperoor Padayani is a Padayani held at the Neelamperoor Palli Bhagavathi Temple in Neelamperoor, Kerala, India. It lasts 16 days and begins on the pooram day after Thiruvonam in the month of Chingam. This festival is said to have a centuries-old heritage. The Hindu and Buddhist cultures are included in this category. The parade of effigies is a highlight of the celebration. As a sacrifice to the goddess, they incorporate representations of animals such as swans, elephants, and deities such as Bhima, Ravana, Yakshi, and others.
1700 വർഷം പഴക്കമുള്ള നീലംപേരൂർ പള്ളി ഭഗവതി ക്ഷേത്രം, കേരളത്തിലെ ആലപ്പുഴ, കുട്ടനാട്ടിൽ സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്ന ബുദ്ധക്ഷേത്രമാണ്. കോട്ടയം-ചങ്ങനാശേരി മെയിൻ സെൻട്രൽ റോഡിൽ കുറിച്ചി ഔട്ട്‌പോസ്റ്റിൽ നിന്ന് ഏകദേശം 3 കിലോമീറ്റർ പടിഞ്ഞാറാണ്. വനദുർഗ്ഗയാണ് ഏറ്റവും പ്രധാനപ്പെട്ട ദേവത. കേരളത്തില നീലംപേരൂർ പള്ളി ഭഗവതി ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ നടക്കുന്ന പടയണിയാണ് നീലംപേരൂർ പടയണി. 16 ദിവസം നീണ്ടുനിൽക്കുന്ന ഇത് ചിങ്ങമാസത്തിലെ തിരുവോണത്തിനു ശേഷമുള്ള പൂരം നാളിൽ ആരംഭിക്കുന്നു. ഈ ഉത്സവത്തിന് നൂറ്റാണ്ടുകളുടെ പഴക്കമുണ്ടെന്ന് പറയപ്പെടുന്നു
