The song 'Neelamboojangal vidarnu...' is from the movie 'Sathyvan Savithri'. Sreekumaran Thampi wrote the song, G Devarajan composed the music and K J Yesudas sang the song. Raga- Mohanam.P Vishwambharan direted the 1977 Malayalam language film Sathyavan Savithri. The film stars Kamal Haasan and Sridevi in the lead roles. Under the same title the film was translated into Tamil and into Telugu under the title Satyavanthudu.
"""സത്യവാൻ സാവിത്രി"" എന്ന ചലച്ചിത്രത്തിലെ ഗാനമാണ് ""നീലാംബുജങ്ങൾ വിടർന്നു നീലാരവിന്ദായദാക്ഷിയെ തേടി നീലാംബുജങ്ങൾ വിടർന്നു നിറമാല വാനിൽ തെളിഞ്ഞു നീരദവേണിയാം ദേവിയെ തേടി നിറമാല വാനിൽ തെളിഞ്ഞു"" എന്ന ഈ ഗാനം. ശ്രീകുമാരൻ തമ്പി എഴുതി, ജി ദേവരാജൻ സംഗീതം നൽകി, കെ ജെ യേശുദാസ് ആലപിച്ച ഗാനം. രാഗം - മോഹനം. പി.ജി. വിശ്വംഭരൻ സംവിധാനം ചെയ്ത് 1977 ൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ ഒരു മലയാള ഭാഷാ ചലച്ചിത്രമാണ് സത്യവാൻ സാവിത്രി. കമലഹാസൻ, ശ്രീദേവി എന്നിവരാണ് ഈ ചിത്രത്തിലെ പ്രധാന കഥാപാത്രങ്ങളെ അവതരിപ്പിച്ചത്. ചിത്രം അതേ തലക്കെട്ടോടെ തമിഴിലേക്കും സത്യവന്തുദു എന്ന പേരിൽ തെലുങ്കിലേക്കും മൊഴിമാറ്റം ചെയ്യപ്പെട്ടു."
