Nano Technology is the understanding and control of matter at the nanoscale, at dimensions between approximately 1 and 100 nanometers, where unique phenomena enable novel applications. The ideas and concepts behind nanoscience and nanotechnology started with a talk entitled “There's Plenty of Room at the Bottom” by physicist Richard Feynman. Nanotechnology in electronics increases the capabilities of electronics devices while reducing their weight and power consumption, it increases the density of memory chips and reduces the size of transistors that are used in integrated circuits. The major drawbacks of this technology are its potential dangers to humans and the environment. Loss of manufacturing and agricultural jobs. Economic market crashes are related to a potential lower value of oil due to more efficient energy sources and gold or diamonds, materials that can be reproduced with molecular manipulation.
