This poem is composed by NN Kakkad. He is a sanskrit scholar and was known to have been proficient in painting and music. He started writing poem as early as in his school days. He is also a member of the Indian National C ongress and then moving to the communist party of India. Kakkad recieved the Odakuzhal award and the Cherukad award for his numerous works.
