What is more beautiful than a lover describing his lady lover to snow flakes, a pure symbol? This is what we hear in the song Munthirikkudilil Muthu Nirathum from the movie Gangasangamam. The movie was released in the year 1971 starring Prem Nazir and Ragini. The lyics for this song was penned down by Vayalar Ramavarma. While G Devarajan composed the music, it was P Jayachandran who sang the song.
"ഒരു കാമുകൻ തന്റെ കാമുകിയെ മഞ്ഞുകണങ്ങളോട് വിവരിക്കുന്നതിനേക്കാൾ മനോഹരമായത് എന്താണ്? ഗംഗാസംഗമം എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലെ മുന്തിരിക്കുടിലിൽ മുത്തു നിറയും എന്ന ഗാനത്തിൽ നമ്മൾ കേൾക്കുന്നതും ഇതാണ്. പ്രേം നസീറും രാഗിണിയും അഭിനയിച്ച ചിത്രം 1971 ൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങി. വയലാർ രാമവർമയാണ് ഈ ഗാനത്തിന്റെ വരികൾ എഴുതിയത്. ഗാനം ആലപിച്ചത് പി ജയചന്ദ്രനാണ്. ദേവരാജൻ സംഗീതം പകർന്നു."
