As a noun, the word 'motive' refers to a goal; as a verb, it refers to taking action. As a result, motives are forces that compel people to act in a certain way in order to meet a certain human need at a specific time. There is a reason for every human activity. As a result, management must give incentives for employees to work for the company. Motivation is a planned managerial procedure that encourages people to work to their full potential by providing them with motivating factors that are based on their unmet requirements. Effort, organizational goals, and needs are the three important factors in our concept. The effort component is a metric measuring how intense something is. When someone is motivated, he or she makes a concerted effort. Four different sorts of motivation help people get through difficult situations, perform well, and stick to their commitments. Extrinsic, identified, intrinsic, and introjected motivations are the four categories of motivation. Individuals seeking to better their performance or achieve their goals must first understand the many sources of motivation.
