Modernism in architecture came into being as a result of the modernist movement and the origin of the idea of modernism is believed to have emerged from the influence of the age of enlightenment which was also the period of the industrial revolution. The ideology affected many at that point of time as a result of which people started going down the same path of modernist architectures and their concepts of construction using steel and glass. The period of the beginning of architecture plays a significant role in the restoration of architecture as well. A pioneer of modern architecture, Le Corbusier’s work and career go on to influence millions across the globe and the impact he created can in no way be recreated.
